Desleigh is the founder and managing director of Steele HR Services. She has worked in the Human Resources field for 17 years and is passionate and enthusiastic about helping companies achieve results.
She is professional, business-focused, and has strong communication and employee relations skills. Having worked across many sectors, she has the ability to grasp case background, concepts and culture very quickly and immediately add value.
Desleigh has held a wide range of in-house HR roles in public, private and not-for-profit organisations across engineering, financial, construction and health sectors in unionised and non-unionised environments.
She has particular expertise in managing and facilitating HR and change projects and has managed and advised on mergers & acquisitions, compensation & benefits, implementation of HR and Payroll systems, terms & condition consultation/negotiation as well as many other initiatives and operational activities.
In terms of formal qualifications, Desleigh is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development as well as a Fellow of the Australian Human Resources Institute. She is a member of the Australian Institute of Management and also has a Bachelor of Business Degree in Accountancy and Human Resource Management. She is also a Committee Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (Mid Scotland Branch) and has a network of colleagues in a wide variety of sectors.

He has been a member of the Royal College of Physicians of London (Faculty of Occupational Medicine) for 21 years and has provided Occupational Health advice to a number of industries including the Royal Navy, Territorial Army, Local Authorities, the NHS, Police Services and a variety of manufacturing and engineering companies.
He is a valuable member of the Steele HR Services team and is an expert in, and can advise on, a number of areas including development of sickness absence policy and its implementation, fitness for work and pre-employment checks, and legislative compliance - Disability Discrimination Act, Statutory Medicals, Health Surveillance.
In terms of formal qualifications, David has a medical degree, has completed Higher Medical Training in Occupational Medicine and has the additional postgraduate qualification of Master of Science in Occupational Medicine. He is also a member of the British Medical Association and Society of occupational medicine.
